Call of Cthulhu
“Now I could see blood runnin’ through the streets…”
A low fog drifts across an empty street. The hum of the incandescent street lights accompany your foot falls as you make your way up town. Arkham sleeps for now, but it also writhes. It has the quiet that only comes when you hold your breath, straining to hear whether that was your imagination or if that bump in the night was real.
A train whistle cuts the silence with a howl that bounces off the near by buildings giving it a ghostly resonance, causing you to jump. You can hear the metal beast push its way past the city to parts unknown.
You pull your coat tighter and continue on your way, strange things have been occurring. Its best to not be outdoors at night.
